Mighty Ninja
Mighty Ninja is the introduction level for all juniors 12 and under. It caters for all student levels of ability and is designed to focus on hand eye coordination, fundamental skills, focus and physical attributes. As the students attend weekly classes they will naturally progress at their individual rate. This is recognised from levels 1 through to 8. Depending on each student’s progression and ability, they can graduate to the main Manakai Martial Arts training syllabus at any time.
This program is also ideally suited to students with Neurodivergent diagnosis’s as it gives them time to develop their own personal skill set while interacting in a more fun environment.

Japanese Bujutsu
Bujutsu is arguably the oldest form of Japanese Martial Arts. Born out of feudal Japan it was about survival for the Samurai.
Bujutsu is an umbrella term that covers all of the traditional Japanese martial arts such as JuJutsu, Kenjutsu, SoJutsu, JoJutsu and so on and was originally the sole preserve of the Samurai though nowadays Bujutsu techniques include the use of modern combative techniques and weapons. It's focus is not on how to copy but rather how to make it work for you.
The term Bujutsu translates to “Warrior Technique”. Specifically, it implies a set of physical skills used for combat and survival, (these days we refer to it as self-defence) Bujutsu is not like modern day Japanese Martial Arts that are sports orientated. There are no rules and each person learns how best to use their ability and master their own techniques with the intent of self-defence. The Manakai Martial Arts training syllabus covers all aspects of self-defence from stand up fighting, takedowns, ground work and weapons.
As there are no rules the individual is open to all techniques to be used in the most efficient manner as traced back through it's lineage from the Daitoku Ji, Kyoto Japan, The house of the Samurai and Daimyō Toyotomi Hideyoshi and the resting place of his predecessor, Oda Nobunaga, and the school of Iizasa of the Tenshin Katori Shinto Ryu, (a Kōryu Bujutsu school) founded in 1447.
